We're not the picture-perfect couple. We're two introverts who found home in each other. Built on laughter, trust, and our love for dogs.
We would like to thank you for supporting Bryan Hulseberg in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
Our story almost never happened. I was about to delete Bumble after giving up on dating when I saw Bryan's profile. Funny enough, he wasn't interested in online dating either—his friend made the profile for him. A little over a year later, we eloped in Las Vegas on a rainy day wearing warm jackets, beanies, and simple Etsy wedding bands. Two people who almost never swiped ended up finding exactly what we were looking for.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? On our second date, he packed drinks, and we headed to a wilderness park. When I needed a restroom break on top of a hill, he panicked—forgetting I couldn’t just go behind a tree! I told him not to look, went down the hill, and instead of being upset, I yelled, “Bunny!” because a little rabbit popped up beside me. We laughed for hours.
What would you do with $20,000?We’ve never left the U.S., so we’d love to travel and experience somewhere completely new. But first, we’d tackle some home projects—like installing that back door so we can spend more time outside with our two favorite dogs. It would be the perfect mix of adventure and home.
