How did your love story begin?

We met at a singles dance at our church. I didn't like my husband when we 1st met, because he acted like he was "God's greatest gift to women" lol! It takes a lot of courage for a man to ask a woman out. So, we went on 3 dates and after the 3rd date, he knocked me off my feet with 1 heck of a lip lock! I saw how he treated his mom and sisters, with such great love and respect and I knew that that's how he would treat his wife. It was history after that and we got married a year later.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our honeymoon was very memorable! We went to Angels Camp, CA. We rented a condo that overlooked a beautiful golf course. We spent every single day fishing, trying to win up each other on who has the biggest fish, who caught the most fish and who caught the first fish! Then we toured the wine vineyards which was absolutely beautiful. We went to Moaning Caverns and went 100 feet into the cave; very cool! There are so many things that we've done, it's hard to pick our favorite.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would love to buy a house in Las Vegas, NV! We lived there for 4 years after Bruce retired and we want to go back there to live out our "Golden Years". We had to move back to Sacramento, due to our daughter became severely ill and almost died. We were from Sacramento and we knew that the medical field was excellent. She got the help that she needed within 6 weeks and we never regret going in debt to save her. We just want a permanent place to call home now!
