How did your love story begin?

Some girls get flowers. I got $20 thrown into my car window. 😂 I worked at a gas station, and Corey kept finding reasons to stop in for popcorn, scratch tickets, and gas he didn’t need. One night, a little tipsy from the bar, he hugged me, pumped my gas, and tossed $20 into my car after I refused it. I messaged him to return it. He said only if I’d go on a date with him. Seven years, four boys, a home, and a trucking company later, that $20 was the best investment he ever made.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

My favorite memory is our first official date during our small-town River Rat Race. We spent the day at his friend’s house playing wiffle ball, laughing nonstop, and enjoying a few drinks. We ended the night with a trip to the gas station for Ben & Jerry’s. It wasn’t fancy, but it was perfect. Corey was so funny, kind, and easy to be around that I knew that night I was falling in love. Seven years later, he’s still my favorite person to laugh with.

What would you do with $20,000?

If we won, we’d finally have the wedding we’ve dreamed of. We’ve been engaged for five years, waiting for the right time. My dad has three daughters, and two had courthouse weddings. He’s always dreamed of walking one of us down the aisle, and I want to give him that moment. Most of all, I want our four boys to watch their mom and dad say “I do” and see the love that built our family celebrated the way we’ve always imagined.
