With an interview. We'll, that's what we both felt the eHarmony process felt like. After days of chatting, I finally gave him my number, then spent hours annoyed when he didn't call—only to learn he'd been having LASIK surgery. He called, we talked for hours. Soon we were talking every day, & he even asked for a 2nd date before the 1st. On that date, his bruised, bloodshot eyes startled me until I remembered the surgery. We ordered appetizers, & kissed before dinner was ordered.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?By our third date, we both knew. I shared that I’d had a hysterectomy and couldn’t have children. He told me how, after his son’s mother left, his brother comforted him by saying one day he’d meet a woman who couldn’t have kids, and she’d be the one. We both got chills. As we walked through Downtown Disney, everything felt different. We knew we’d found our person—we were just too scared to say it out loud.
What would you do with $20,000?We've always been dreamers, so $20,000 wouldn't just be spent—it would become part of our next chapter. We'd use it to create experiences we'll never forget, invest in goals we've talked about for years, and build an even stronger future together. The best part wouldn't be what we buy; it would be having the freedom to turn a few more of our shared dreams into reality.
