We met on the national tour of a show called Zorba. He was the supporting lead and I was 3rd nerd to the left. I was smitten from day one. He was too cool for school. But one night after a show in Klamath Falls the cast was at a bar doing karaoke. I sang Respect and did the nerdiest dance anyone could and he knew I was the one 😂😂. It was a rocky start, but soon we became enraptured with one another. 30 years, 4 engagements, MANY shows and 2 kids later we are more in love than ever.

We have lived a crazy life with so many wonderful memories, we’ve been to 20+ countries together, performed in front of thousands & have done some all around pretty amazing things. But I suppose a highlight that stands out was the 2nd time we got engaged on the top of the Empire State building. We were surrounded by a group of Chinese tourists who went wild, taking pictures and videos, and hugging us. It was kinda perfect.

We have had a lot of ups and downs in our marriage. As much as we loved each other, we almost didn’t make it. Through determination, love and hard work, we made it to the other side and have reached a new level of love we never knew existed. As such we really want to renew our wedding vows on our 25th anniversary on April 13, 2027. We would use the $20,000 to throw a fabulous vow renewal. And maybe take another honeymoon as I was pregnant on our first one 😂😂.
