After a motorcycle accident left me paralyzed, I woke from a coma to learn my wife of four years had left me. The nurse who cared for me became my long-distance best friend. After years of hours-long video calls, laughs, and falling in love, I moved across the country to be with her. Today we’re engaged, raising two dogs and the little family we always dreamed of.

Her favorite moments are seeing my face light up as we explore somewhere new. Mine will always be the look on her face when I told her we were going to look at rings. In that instant, I watched it sink in that the moment she’d been dreaming of had finally arrived and I’ll never forget the joy in her eyes.

As a U.S. Army veteran, giving back to my fellow veterans is deeply important to me. If we win, we will proudly donate a portion to the Wounded Warrior Project to help veterans live their best lives. Our dream is to embrace the full-time RV lifestyle, traveling across the U.S. with our dogs, Oolah and Baloo, creating unforgettable memories. This gift would help us purchase a handicap-accessible travel trailer and turn our dream of freedom, adventure, and a life without limits into reality.
