My husband, Nick, and I met at a high school track meet, and our love story began with a coat. He was one of the only people who brought one. Earlier that day it had been nearly 80 degrees, but after the sun went down, the temperature dropped to around 40. Shivering on the sidelines, I squeezed into his coat with him to stay warm. Neither of us knew that moment would be the start of something extraordinary.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?One of our favorite memories was celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary in Hawaii. It was our chance to slow down and simply enjoy being together. Exploring the island, the historic sites, watching the sunsets. It was just the two of us, talking, laughing, remembering why we fell in love in the first place. Those quiet moments together became just as meaningful as any adventure.
What would you do with $20,000?We would go back to Hawaii, but this time we would take our three kids. We were talking about going to Italy for our 25th, but with the kids getting older we want to do something really special with them. Before they start college, careers, have families of their own.
