We matched on a dating app, but at first I honestly didn't give Marcus much of a chance. After I left him on delivered for days, he sent me a funny meme that made me laugh and finally convinced me to respond. From there, we couldn't stop talking. Our first date was on New Year's, and what was supposed to be one date quickly turned into spending nearly every day together. The more time we spent together, the more I realized he was everything I had been looking for!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

My favorite memory together was definitely my sorority formal. It was Marcus's first college event, and getting to share that experience with him made it incredibly special. We spent the night dancing, laughing, playing beer pong with friends, and enjoying being a college couple together. What made it even more meaningful was having someone who genuinely supports my involvement and wants to be part of those moments with me. Out of all our date functions, formal will always be our favorite.

What would you do with $20,000?

If we won $20,000, we would put it toward our home and our 10 rescue animals. Marcus is moving in with me next month, and after giving me a promise ring, we’re excited to continue building our future together. A portion would go toward caring for our animals, and the rest would help us improve our home and create a strong foundation for the future. Having a safe and loving place to call home means so much to both of us, and this opportunity would help us continue building that life together.
