Middle school sweethearts who grew into best friends. Eleven years later, we’re still choosing each other every day.
We would like to thank you for supporting Brady wardlow in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
Brady and I started as middle school friends in sixth grade. Ironically, I was dating his best friend at the time! In eighth grade, Brady randomly called me one night just to say he was going to marry me someday. I laughed it off, but after another unexpected call a week later, I decided to give him a chance. We made it official on June 24, 2015, and have been together ever since. Turns out, he really did call it.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Choosing just one memory is almost impossible after so many years together, but we always come back to our first family trip Up North. One evening, we sat on a porch swing under a sky full of stars, talking and soaking in the moment. It wasn’t anything extravagant, but it was peaceful, simple, and perfectly us. Looking back, it’s one of those memories that reminds us how much joy can be found just being together.
What would you do with $20,000?This money would make a huge difference as we begin our next chapter together. We’re hopeful Brady will start Physician Assistant school next year, which means he’ll have to cut back on work while focusing on his education. We’ve been saving and preparing, but it’s still a big financial commitment. This would help us with a reliable car for his commute and provide peace of mind for any unexpected expenses along the way.
