How did your love story begin?

Our love story is a testament to faith. In November 2002, lonely at a fundraiser, I sought advice from my grandma, a pastor. She told me to pray specifically for a husband. That night, I asked God for a 6'4" man with dark hair, blue eyes, a good father and husband. In January 2003, a coworker named Cathy introduced me to Brad. Our first phone call lasted eight hours. Brad proposed that March, and we married on June 28th 2003. Celebrating 23 years. Brad is my best friend. God's timing is perfect.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

In 2025, Brad surprised me with tickets to see Tracy Byrd. When he started singing "Keeper of the Stars" the exact song Brad sang to me on our wedding night, Brad asked me to dance right there in the aisle. It was a beautiful, full-circle moment. It became even more unforgettable when Tracy Byrd finished, looked right at us, and publicly thanked us for dancing, saying it was truly special to him. We will treasure it forever.

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20,000, Brad wants to plan a trip for my 50th birthday and our upcoming 25th wedding anniversary. We’ve been through a ton of life together—weathering every storm, raising our family, and welcoming grandbabies as a team. After nearly 25 years of real life, we want to celebrate how far we've come with a cruise or a trip to Belize.
