We met on match.com and had our first date at a park. When the date ended I sat in Joys car talking and talking and talking, not realizing she had dinner plans with a friend. I always hated the end of a date so I was just talking in circles. Joy said she had fun but had to go. She eventually told me that she really liked me but couldn't figure out why I wouldn't just shut up and thought maybe I didn't like her and just didn't know how to leave and say goodbye. 👋Ha!

Our Maine island wedding! I arrived on a jet ski dressed as a beaver; Joy walked down the aisle in squirrel ears! Beaver and Squirrel were our childhood nicknames given to us by our fathers! I danced to the song "Joy" by King & Country in my beaver costume and got lots of laughs! It was a very unique wedding which represented our crazy quirky love purrfectly! I was diagnosed with Cancer in 2017 and could not have asked for a more supportive partner. I love my Joy! Joy!

Help animals! We would donate a large portion to PACC911, a non-profit organization that unites Arizona animal welfare communities and helps them save homeless, abused, and injured pets. We would also splurge on a catio we could use for the neighborhood strays while they await shelter placement. For us, we would plan the ultimate mystery bus ride (surprise day trips or events) for one another as throughout our ten year relationship, mystery bus rides have kept our spark alive!
