We met sophomore year in stats. I always sat front row, he hid in the back—until the professor mumbled so much he moved up. He took the seat I used for my coffee, and we were instantly annoyed with each other. Somehow that tiny moment turned into friendship, and a year and a half later, into us. Funny how a stolen seat became the start of everything.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory is Thanksgiving 2021 in the Great Smokies. Distance was testing us, and a rainy camping disaster forced us to sleep in my tiny car. I was stressed, but Ryan stayed so positive. In that moment, I knew he was my forever. We still hiked, saw Gatlinburg lights, and ate the biggest calzone for Thanksgiving. A chaotic trip that became one of our sweetest memories.
What would you do with $20,000?Together 8 years this July 4th—half of it long‑distance. We finally got engaged in December 2025 and can finally start planning the wedding we’ve waited so long for. We’d use the prize to celebrate with our loved ones and help fund our honeymoon. We love traveling and want to see the world together, especially while still tackling student loans.
