It all started with, “Hi, Bob.” A mutual friend recognized Bobby as we walked past each other and introduced us. As we talked more, we realized we’d been separated by little more than a few streets, a few years, and life’s unique sense of timing. Who knew that “Hi, Bob” would be the words that brought us together?
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We were on the beach waiting to watch a sunrise on Lake Michigan together. The funny thing— we realized too late we weren’t even facing the sunrise. Instead of being disappointed — we just laughed and enjoyed being there. Life’s moments aren’t always perfect; it’s nice to have someone by your side who makes even the wrong direction feel right.
What would you do with $20,000?Part of the proceeds would go toward a community fundraiser supporting caregivers like us. We hope to bring people together for a day of music, food, laughter, and connection while raising funds for respite, resources, and support. In our experience through community radio and group bike rides, we’ve seen how shared experiences build stronger communities. We believe love grows when it’s shared.
