Connect How did your love story begin?

We first met on eHarmony. Just chatting, asking questions about each other. Both of our lives were very busy at the time. Amy working at a day camp during the summer and myself in the process of moving so my 15 yr old daughter could move in with me and stay in her High School. It had to be about 6 months of texting and phone calls. Finaly on July 29th we decided to meet face to face. Only problem was I had my then 5yr old son and I couldn't go out. Amy said, "No worries, I will come to you."

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

One of my favorite memories is when I first opened my door the day we met and saw the smile on her face. Another time early in our relationship was when I took Amy out to dinner at the shore. She ordered shrimp cocktail. I ordered lobster. I asked her if she wanted a bite and was told she doesn't eat lobster. I said just give it a try. Needless to say I had shrimp cocktail for dinner that night. Guess who had the lobster. We still laugh about that today. This is just one of our favorite stories.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would love to do a family vacation. EVERYONE together! 5 kids and 3 grandchildren. Heck we'll even let the significant others come. lol We have always dreamed of doing this but never have the funds available to do it. Something always gets in the way. Family is the most important thing to us. Being together with everyone is one of our simple joys in life. Wouldn't matter where we go. Someplace where none of us have ever been before though so we could all make a new memory.
