We're so alike that we may share two hearts but only one braincell!
Help us share our love story in Variety, take home $20,000, and go on a triple date with Jeff & Emilie Goldblum and Charlie Day & Mary Elizabeth Ellis!
We met while working at our local Wendy's: he was often on grill while I was making sandwiches at his side. We went out a few times before Bob headed off to Air Force basic training, spent a majority of his Christmas visit home together, and he proposed on New Year's Day. We got to know each other better through snail mail and weekly phone calls before marrying the following June. You might say we were a match made to order!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? In a relationship as long as ours, we've seen and done so much that it's hard to choose. Some of our favorites would be related to our travels. We've not only driven cross-country and up into Canada, but also explored Japan (where we lived with our three kids during Bob's time in the military), and have enjoyed trips to Ireland, Scotland, and France as well. Long hours in a car or plane are a great way to spend quality one-on-one time which helps bring us even closer together.
What would you do with $20,000?Both of us are retirees from state government service who now work as full-time writers and podcasters. We would love to invest the $20,000 in our little publishing company, Two Moore Books, LLC. Creating a dedicated office space and podcast studio at our home would help us expand on our mission to educate, encourage, and entertain.
