Connect How did your love story begin?

Our story began at the Coney Island pull-up bars. I spotted Bilma, offered to help her with a few repetitions, and we ended up laughing and smiling through the entire set. The chemistry was undeniable, so I decided to take her to Spumoni Gardens that same day. We spent hours getting to know one another, truly enjoying the moment. By the time we reached my apartment, we exchanged numbers and shared our first kiss. It was an unforgettable, perfect start that led us to where we are today.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Beyond our children, our favorite memory is our long-distance relationship while I was in Arizona and Bilma was in Italy. During the height of COVID, she was in italy deployed overseas working in a hospital, yet we stayed connected through Netflix watch parties and discussions on self-mastery books. We constantly spoke life into each other, and those late-night laughs and video calls across time zones hit different. That season of intentional growth and support built the foundation we have today

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20,000, we would finally prioritize ourselves after years of being kept at bay by high-stress military moves and challenging conditions. We would use the funds to recoup our wedding expenses and, more importantly, take a well-deserved family vacation. We have never had the chance to enjoy a true getaway together, and this would allow us to finally create those lasting memories as a family, focusing on connection and relaxation after everything we have navigated to get to where we are now.
