I was six months pregnant, driving my mom’s white Corvette when I spotted him walking into Snappy’s. My friend said she knew him, so I had her call him over. He was there with his girlfriend, but I told him I wanted to cook him dinner and asked if he’d be interested. He blushed, smiled, and gave me his pager number. That night I paged him, told him I was coming to pick him up, and he came over to my house. That was the beginning of a love story that’s lasted 26 years.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?The day our first daughter was born. Keep in mind he was 17 I was 18 and after going through labor and the placenta and everything falling off the table as he switched places with my best friend. I’m exhausted afterwards and when I wake up I see him laying in the window with destiny on his chest as if they were meant to be there at that moment and it was so beautiful I fell in love with him at that moment.
What would you do with $20,000?We want to make some unforgettable memories with our family that will last a lifetime time. We have never been in a good place to take family vacations so it would be well deserved family time.
