Honestly? He went to my Junior prom with my best friend, then I ended up falling for him during "Unchained Melodies". 2 months later he left for basic training, and for the next 2 years we spent getting better acquainted long-distance while he started his military career.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? After being married just over a year, Bill had a training exercise at Camp Lejeune, NC (we were currently at Fort Bragg). When he came back, he surprised me with a long weekend back there - cabin on the beach, sunny days and all the sharks teeth we could pick up. What made it special was that I had put my marine biology education with an emphasis on shark behavior, on hold after our marriage due to lack of a school for me to continue studying while at Fort Bragg.
What would you do with $20,000?Have the luxury to travel and do more things together, without worrying so much about the money aspect of making memories and seeing new things together. With his 22 year Army career, multiple schools and training, plus 6 deployments - spending time together has been huge for us now that he's retired from the Army.
