Connect How did your love story begin?

Ben had been home from his second overseas tour with the navy for about a month when his aunt signed him up for Bumble. I was about to delete my bumble, when we matched. The first day we matched, we spoke on the phone for over 3 hours, and then for hours every day after that until our first date. We both knew within the first 10 minutes of our first date that we had found someone special. A week later, Ben asked to make it official and we've been inseparable ever since.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

It was a random Thursday, but one day we went thrifting to try to find pieces for our outfits for the Renaissance Fair, and we just had so much fun together. It wasn't that anything spectacular happened, it was that we were so fully present with each other that the day was absolutely perfectly unforgettable. We had so much fun trying on clothes, cooking dinner together, and laughing. That is easily one of our favorite memories, and we love it because it is so demonstrative of our everyday love.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would pay off student and personal debt. Private university education is extremely expensive in America, and it would be incredible to pay off a huge chunk of it. In general, if we got $20,000, we would do our very best to use it wisely to put ourselves in the best financial position we could for our future selves and the family we would love to start one day.
