How did your love story begin?

Too many grown men still acting like children so I turned away from the safety of people I knew and took a chance based on my friend saying try one more time. Meeting through Facebook w/only one mutual friend that I didn’t really know we started talking and he seemed to be the only adult male I knew who appeared responsible and respectful. We talked and texted and he was actually interested in what I had to say. Four days of planning on meeting seemed to be the longest four days of my life.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Several memories. Our love for the woods was the basis of our wedding being held outside, all alone doing our wedding dance together,driving to the river looking for barges, his patience with me with fishing and saving the fish so they don’t die, being my support through college, a horrible job and craziness with grown children but mostly best memory when he reaches to hold my hand in the car.

What would you do with $20,000?

I asked him.. same thought as me, buy a tiny home or save for retirement. Pretty much same amount we would use now in his 401k to start the last phase of our lives. But to use what we have would leave us with nothing so still couldn’t stop working just so we could live but it would replace what we would spend so we could live
