We thank Three Mile Island. The year after the accident, Harrisburg PA capitol was site of anti-nuke rally. I worked at ABC affiliate, he at the CBS. My director held a party after the late news. In the crush of people, I spilled my drink on him. The rest is history.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?BC before children, we vacationed in California. He was at an NBC affiliate then and was able to get Tonight Show tickets as well as others. We decided Price is Right. As we stood in line, we heard it was a day long ordeal. Not knowing when we would ever return we gave the tickets (you get in first with tix) to the couple in front of us. They squealed with delight—“Thank you! It’s crock pot day—first people get a free crock pot!” You would have thought it was keys to the city.
What would you do with $20,000?Now with 3 girls-all grown and out of the nest -30-34-38-and all over the country —with their families —this mom would use it to take a family cruise (first choice) or just somewhere we can all be together at once.
