Chris was in the army, and I went to college in his home town. So when he came home after his first deployment, I was hanging out with his friend group. We’ve been inseparable ever since! That was almost 16 years ago! Now we have two sons, he’s since out of the military, and is a fireman, but we’ve pivoted and grown together every step!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?When asked this, it’s hard to decide one defining moment as being a favorite memory. Could do vacation stories, or talk about the birth of our kids. But the best times have always been unplanned, and found in the quiet times. The nights when we bail on plans and eat pizza in bed and watch scary movies. Just fishing on the boat with our boys. I have some cool stories/moments, but if I had to label a favorite, it’s always going to be those small ones that seemingly mean very little in the moment.
What would you do with $20,000?No hard plans! But definitely something us and the boys can enjoy. Whether helping finish out the basement we are working on, or sit on it until the right moment speaks to us.
