I was simply broken after 22 years of marriage to a Pastor. I knew there had to be more. I knew that my Prince Charming that I dreamed of as a child would be coming. So, I prayed as hard as I could that God would send me THE ONE that would cause me to run the hell outta my marriage. Suddenly…Mutual friends of our set up a blind date at a local LGBT Lounge. I sat waiting for my date to arrive. As he entered into the room, every sound and movement seemed to come to a halt.

Our Wedding Day held in my small basement home with two close witnesses and the woman officiating our vows. We hand wrote individual vows from the heart. I made sure we had all the composites of a traditional wedding-something old, borrowed, blue, & new! The best part was having a part of his deceased grandmother there. She had recently died and to make sure she had been in the room, a vase held the dried out flowers from her funeral that once adorned her casket…

I would like us to visit Jamaica for my 50th bday this December. My Now & Forever Husband is 10 years younger than me and hasn’t really ever traveled outside of US. I want to make memories with him that would take his breath away. Simply because HE SAW ME! No one has ever really seen ALL OF ME, but he has & loves it all!
