How did your love story begin?

Met in 1968, he had just returned from the Army, a Vietnam Era Vet. I was a very young girl. Because I was so young we had to part. Married others but found our way back. Me, an RN & Trauma ast Er 25 yrs suffered a brain and heart aneurysm. He, a 5 bypass. After recovery we support and help all Veterans and care for elderly parents. We were both struck down to rise above and do so much for all. We were broken to find our true worth. We care and love deeply and never forget where we came from!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Riding our Harley to Washington DC for Rolling thunder and honoring those who gave their all. We designed the monument to the first Nurse & Woman killed in Vietnam and we were both invited to speak in DC at the VN Commemorative before the Army Nurse Corp, Generals, White House Press and more. The day we completed her and dedicated her was an honor and privilege. We will always hold this as one of our greatest accomplishments and memories! Love our Veterans🇺🇸🙏💕 this was after our near death.

What would you do with $20,000?

Pay off a few debts and again help our communities & Veterans. We run a Kris Kringle Market and Memorial day and veterans day events at the monuments we dedicated. Kris Kringle is a labor of love to our community and we draw nearly 2000 people. We have some help from the Borough but raise funds ourself. We were given the richness of life and strive to give it back to all we can. Thanks for giving us this opportunity.🇺🇸🙏💕
