Connect How did your love story begin?

Our love story began with terrible timing. We met just two weeks before I had to leave England, but instead of letting it end, we made it work long-distance for a year. Eventually, I moved to be with him, and we started our life together on a tiny canal boat in London. It was chaotic but unforgettable, and it proved we could handle anything together.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

My favourite memory is a trip to Saint-Malo, France, with Armani's family. The holiday was full of family drama, food poisoning, and getting hopelessly lost. But the day after Christmas, just the two of us spent the day exploring the city, wandering around the fort and stumbling across an underground zoo. I remember thinking how lucky I was that, even after years together, my favourite person in the world was still my best friend.

What would you do with $20,000?

If we won $20,000, we'd put it towards our next boat project. Six years ago, we bought the sailboat we now call home and spent four years restoring it together. Now, with a cat and a tortoise onboard, we're ready for a little more space! We've found a boat we love, but it's a bigger project than we can afford alone. This prize would help us build the next chapter of our life and adventures together.
