We started out as friends who met online through a shared love of DnD. Over the years we learned more about each other and grew to care for one another. Then one day, Peter made the first move to tell me how he felt in person. Though I wasn't sure initially about long distance, months later I began to realize just how much he meant to me. We both thought the opportunity slipped past us, but a chance night of games and courage led us to admit we both wanted to be together. That was 3 years ago.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?While every small memory means so much to us, one of our favourite memories is our first kiss. He drove all the way from New York City to Kingston, Ontario to celebrate my birthday with me. We were nervous with anticipation but the moment we went for it, it felt like everything fit into place. It was the most magical first kiss we could have had.
What would you do with $20,000?That money would like go towards our legal funds to assist me with immigration. Due to the constraints in our industries and the ongoing changes to US immigration policy, making the move to join Peter has been difficult and having the funds to get proper legal aid would allow us to dedicate our savings to other future events like marriage and starting a family.
