Before we had a home, a ring, or a plan, we had each other. Somehow, that was always enough.
Help us share our love story in Variety, take home $20,000, and go on a triple date with Jeff & Emilie Goldblum and Charlie Day & Mary Elizabeth Ellis!
Our love story began before we knew it. For years, we unknowingly crossed paths at celebrations and in the same places, always just missing each other. When we finally met in Boston, something felt familiar. We exchanged Instagrams and stayed connected for couple of years, until a trip to Colorado sparked the conversation that changed everything. Looking back, it feels like life had been guiding us towards each other.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? My favorite memory is sharing my family home with him when we first fell in love, just before it was sold. We spent that winter skiing, making memories in the home that held so many of mine, and eventually moving furniture out together. It was the closing of one chapter of my life and the beginning of ours, and I’ll always cherish that he was there for both.
What would you do with $20,000?We would put the $20,000 toward buying our first house together. Some of my favorite memories with my partner were made in my family home just before it was sold, and I’ve always dreamed of creating that same feeling of home together. We would use this gift to begin building a place of our own one filled with memories, new traditions, and, one day, a family of our own.
