Our story began when I auditioned for Bill's band. The chemistry between us was instant and overwhelming, but because we were both so completely dedicated to the music, we tried our best to keep each other at arm's length. That discipline didn’t last long; we were simply too smitten to deny it. We fell in love. We had our times apart due to our commitment to music but in the end love prevailed. Three wonderful kids and five grandchildren later, here we are, still just as in love as day one.

It’s impossible to pick just one. Our favorite memory is the entire adventure we’ve built. It started with our early days in the Canadian music scene, followed by the massive leap of faith moving to LA with three young kids in tow. From touring, traveling to the quiet joy of watching our children grow, thrive in sports, get married, and now we watch our five grandkids grow. The best memory is simply looking back at the incredible, adventurous life we have shared every single step of the way.

Having dedicated our entire lives to the music business, we are still working hard in our late 60s. Winning this would allow us to invest the $20,000 wisely toward our future and put some aside for each of the grandchildren. Our goal is to finally be able to slow down a bit by the time we reach 70. This money could possibly help to ease into that next chapter, giving us the freedom to take a breath, travel together, and enjoy the beautiful life we’ve spent decades building.
