It began when we were 16 years old! We started off as wonderful friends and our friendship budded into a beautiful romance. The second we met it was like love at first sight, we were absolutely head over heels with each other. He drove 8 hours total every weekend to see me and spend time with me! We shared a deep and mature connection from a young age that others do not have. It never failed that every visit I got a new bouquet of flowers that he put together himself! 7 yrs later we are engaged!

On our one year anniversary he showed up to my house in a suit and tie with a bouquet of flowers. He took me back to the city we met in (Winchester KY) and went around to every important place to our relationship with a hand written letter that corresponded. The high school where he asked me out at our school dance, a friend’s house where we first met, food places we shared many meals at. He then gave me a promise ring on top of it all. It was the kindest and most romantic thing between us.

We would use it to start our lives together. We are young and still in college and with how today’s economy is we barely scrape by to afford living expenses! $20,000 would change our lives and we could live comfortably as we get through college to start our careers. We would be able to afford groceries and even get away from renting! It would be the biggest blessing that would go towards what we need to start our lives, be successful, and work towards our wedding and starting our own family!
