We worked at the same place - I was his boss! I didn’t fall for him at first, but he did! For him, it was love at first site and he claimed me as his wife without knowing my history. Our friendship developed and his big heart and captivating green eyes made me feel at peace and safe which is something I didn’t know because of a really bad previous relationship.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our very first date: He took me to the movies to watch Shrek. It was surreal - he open the door to the car, to the theater and held my hand the whole time & ever since. I can see & feel how proud he was to have me holding on to. For the first time I felt respected, wanted, loved and cared for.
What would you do with $20,000?So many things! But first, donate 10% of that money to our favorite charity - St. Jude. Secondly, continue to improve our house which has been a working progress since we moved in 17 years ago. See, our home is our sanctuary- this is where my kids and grandkids are welcome when life gets hard. Their safe space to be loved, heard and fed with mamà’s best dishes. Thank you for allowing us to share part of our story with the world. We know our story will impact other couples!
