Each of us had a set of friends who both convinced to go see a Jimmy Buffet Cover Band on the North Shore of the Ohio River in Pittsburgh. One of my friends happened to be a college friend of my future wife. We spent the entire evening together and hit it off instantly. It only took six months to convince me that she was going to be the love of my life. I asked her to marry me and we have been happily married ever since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We are very family oriented, so it was nice to take our children and both sets of parents on a beautiful vacation to California. My mother has a brother who lives in California, and she had not been able to see him for over 20 years. Unfortunately he died a month after we got to see him again, and my mother still says how grateful she was to see him one last time before he passed. We all still reminisce on how great it was to all be able to spend that time together.
What would you do with $20,000?My daughter is currently 20 years and has a wonderful boyfriend that she is very serious about. I have no idea when or if they will get married, but it would be great to have some money saved up to give them their dream wedding.
