How did your love story begin?

Our love story began with him offering to share his plain M&Ms at lunch. After lunch, I wrote him a note asking if he’d be my boyfriend. Between classes, I slipped it to him. As I boarded the bus, he ran out and handed it back with YES! circled. That evening, he rode his bicycle a mile out of town just to spend time with me. Thirty-three years later, we still share a bag of plain M&Ms on the day we met.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

My favorite memory with my husband isn’t just one moment—it’s the life we’ve built together over the past 33 years. From raising our daughters to becoming grandparents, every challenge and celebration has brought us closer. Through laughter, love, and unwavering support, we’ve created a lifetime of unforgettable memories. If I could do it all over again, I’d still choose him every single time.

What would you do with $20,000?

If I won $20,000, I’d take a much-needed vacation with my husband, pay off a few bills to ease some financial stress, and put the rest into savings for a rainy day. It would give us the chance to make more memories together while also providing peace of mind knowing we have a little extra set aside for whatever the future may bring.
