We met on the tennis court. We both played tennis in our youth. When we got married we spent many, many years playing on USTA teams together. Not a lot of people can play competitive tennis successfully with their spouse. I have always felt supported and loved on and off the tennis court.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?When we were traveling in Copenhagen, Denmark, we did a dinner cruise around the harbor. Our boat had kind of an open clear top. We were pulling into Port and very unaware of our surroundings. My husband reached across the table and gave me a kiss and told me he loved me. What we didn’t realize was we were being watched by a group of 30 or 40 tourist. As we got off the boat they all clapped and cheered for us. When we travel, we always seem to find adventure.
What would you do with $20,000?My husband‘s close to retirement age. I have recently retired from teaching elementary school. I think we would use the money to travel. Our next big adventure we would like to go to Italy, so this will help us get started with a trip to remember.
