We met at a bar in Elkhart, Indiana where Angi was celebrating her 31st Birthday. I didn't know she was celebrating her Birthday until I asked her to dance with me. After being together for 5 months we moved in together, now 25 years later our love story still continues. I quit drinking for her because she almost died because of a drunk driver at the age of 17. Now I am her stay-at-home caregiver, where I plan on taking care of her for as long as the good Lord let's me.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory together was entering America's Favorite Couple Competition last year and finishing in the Top 5. We believe we finished 5th overall in our group. We never imagined that we would ever have made it that far. Because at the beginning of it we barely made the Top 20. We may not have Won but for us to make it that far was a Win to us. That is a moment together we will cherish forever!
What would you do with $20,000?Take a much needed vacation, because we don't get out very much. Donate some of it to Altzheimer's Association because we have both lost loved ones to this horrible disease. My Mom (David's) currently has Altzheimers and his Mom's Mom passed away from it in 1998. And Angi's Stepdad passed away from Lewy Body Dementia in 2022.
