How did your love story begin?

Our love story started as a bit of a cliché, I know. Alex and I met, went on a couple dates, and then I ghosted him. Not because I didn't like him, but because it felt way too real, way too fast. Besides, I was in between jobs, launching my own business, way too busy for a man. But eventually I caved and reached back out. Lo and behold, the man still had it for me. Somehow "he'll probably just be a friend" turned into "he's my person." Wild how that works out.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory has to be camping at Dry Tortugas National Park. Picture this: an old military fort sitting in the middle of the Gulf, at the very southern tip of the Florida reef. It's a national park, and we camped out there with basically no one around except the park ranger. We spent our days snorkeling, and at one point Angela found herself face to face with a barracuda. Talk about a memory.

What would you do with $20,000?

We've been really lucky, but with this money, we'd love to finally set down roots. As much as we've traveled around the US, our dream is to plant ourselves somewhere and give our family the foundation to make more memories like the ones we already cherish. Life doesn't always go according to plan, but whether it's a house, savings for the kids, or maybe even art classes for Angela, this money would go toward building our next chapter.
