Andrea and I began as two people who had lived enough life to know love is not perfect or easy. What started as friendship, laughter, and honest conversations slowly became home. We chose each other, not because life was simple, but because together it felt worth it.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our handfasting ceremony beneath the trees. Family surrounded us, cords were tied around our hands, and we promised to choose each other for the rest of our lives. It wasn’t extravagant—it was handmade, imperfect, full of laughter, and completely us. Every time we think about that day, we’re reminded that love isn’t about perfection. It’s about choosing each other, over and over again.
What would you do with $20,000?We would use it to rebuild after an incredibly challenging season of life, create a stable home, and finally breathe again. More than anything, it would give us the chance to begin our marriage focused on building our future instead of simply recovering from the past.
