Connect How did your love story begin?

2019 met on a dating app. Andi wasn’t truly ready to start a new relationship, painful divorce. We kept in touch through fleeting, lovely text check-ins. COVID delayed meeting in person. After following Wellington on Facebook & liking what she saw, inspired by Travis Kelce, Andi reached out to Wellington, hoping to finally connect in person, 2024. The Allspark moment of our journey. After five years, it was like we made each other in a computer. A year later we got Elvis married in Vegas.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Favorite memory? Our first Elvis wedding in Las Vegas. It was so much fun that we went back for a second for our anniversary! We chose a commitment ceremony because we did not see the need for a marriage license. Divorce had left too many scars and a legal document didn’t feel important or right. We simply wanted to celebrate this incredible connection we found later in life, and make a solemn promise to choose each other till forever falls apart. Eloping to Vegas was the way. Purest magic.

What would you do with $20,000?

1) Half goes to our close friend who pushed us to enter this contest. They see a hopeful beauty in our relationship and really believe we have a shot at winning. They never think about themselves, and could put the money to more use than we can, and they truly are the beauty that they see in the world. 2) Elvis wedding celebration number 3 for our next anniversary in Australia or Japan, maybe a honeymoon in Greece? 3) Go on an outreach trip to help children with cleft lips and palates.
