Our love story began at age 12 at a small swim club in Phoenix. We didn't go to the same school, so summers, Amy's softball games, and a Christmas party were our only chances to see each other. I fell for her at 1st sight. She admits she looked forward to seeing me ride my bike past her games. After bidding my time, at age 16 I had the nerve to ask her out to a football game. 42 years later (36 years married), we're still each other's favorite summer romance.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory was on a Carnival cruise to Mexico with our three adult children. We volunteered for the Love & Marriage Show, and I won the runway contest by doing the worm! My wife was crowned the show's "Diva" after a fun makeover and catwalk. The best part wasn't winning. It was seeing our kids laugh, cheer us on, and share the moment with us and see us as fun, loving and spontaneous. That night, we all celebrated, creating a memory we'll treasure forever.
What would you do with $20,000?We would use the $20,000 to help our two daughters who are both engaged to married. We’d love to be able better support their love journeys!
