We were FB friends but never knew it. A post popped up on my timeline about God, faith, failed relationships and why he hasn’t found the “it” girl. It caught my attention and I messaged him thinking he would never reply, but he did. We talked for hours on end, realizing how much we had in common by every conversation. We started going to church together and our dates lasted for days. We couldn’t say goodbye without missing each other and the excitement to see each other again was inevitable

Our 2024 camping trip on my husband’s birthday and Father’s Day weekend. The weather cooperated with us in the best possible way. We enjoyed canoeing and paddle-boating, watching the kids catch baby frogs, playing cornhole, frisby, football and boardgames. Everyone was at peace and full of laughter. We escaped the everyday reality of working, errands and chaos. My husband slow danced with me by the bonfire while the kids made smores. We felt so close watching God's sunset and embrace.

First, we would donate to St. Jude's and Wounded Warriors. After, I would get a vehicle since mine is 12 yrs old and it's due time. We would install a new composite deck for the backyard for more family gatherings as well. Knowing my husband’s handywork & my landscaping abilities, I’d like to believe we’d stretch 20K to do other thing: pay off my hubby’s truck loan, take a family vacation to the beach, save for the kid's future.
