How did your love story begin?

We met when I (Amber) was in college in Savannah, GA and Justin was in the Navy and stationed in Beaufort, SC. We "met" on Tinder and while we were talking and getting to know one another, we learned we were from the same hometown! We had crossed paths throughout our youth but never met one another until 2014. After our first date, we were inseparable. I was 21 years old and Justin was 24 years old when we met. After 6 months of dating, we got married and have been together for over 12 years.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We spent years competing together in Strongman at a high level and have many great memories of that together. My (Amber) favorite memories are the ones where we are competing together and come home with a 1st place trophy together. There's even a video a friend took of us when we were both pulling a maximum deadlift side by side. We have spent many hours training, meal planning, and recovering our sore bodies! All the pain was worth it to be doing it together.

What would you do with $20,000?

My husband is a disabled veteran and we both enjoy gardening immensely. Gardening has helped him manage his PTSD and is another hobby we can enjoy together. With the $20,000, I would love to expand our garden space and be able to have a greenhouse where we can provide our vegetable and flower starts with a better place. We already have an amazing garden that Justin has spent hours creating space for, which I am grateful for. This money would make it even more spectacular!
