How did your love story begin?

Our love story started 2 years before we even met. A friend tried to set us up for 2 years, but we were never single at the same time, til we were. After our 2nd date, I knew I could marry Josh, and apparently he knew it too! By the end of our first week, we were planning our wedding. But we couldn’t wait! Just 2 months shy of knowing each other, we got married at the courthouse while still planning our New Year’s Day wedding, where we’ll exchange vows surrounded by all our friends and family.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Early in our relationship, we’d stay up way too late just to be together. One night in his garage, sipping scotch and puffing on cigars, we started playing songs trying to find “our song.” As the music played, he pulled me to my feet and we danced, just the two of us. It was sweet and spontaneous, and in that moment I knew he was something special. He’s continued to prove that to me time and time again.

What would you do with $20,000?

We’d use it to start our life together well, helping cover our wedding and honeymoon, saving for a future home, and giving back. Supporting missions and causes close to our hearts, like Royal Family Kids Camp (a camp for foster children), would be part of it. We want our life to reflect wise stewardship and generous hearts.
