We would like to thank you for supporting Alyssa & Denali in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We met on Hinge and planned to meet for coffee. Before the date, Alyssa told Denali that she was having bad anxiety. Denali (one bad date away from deleting Hinge) offered that Alyssa join her for a free movie at the local indie movie theater instead for a lower-pressure date option. As soon as we met, we felt so comfortable with the other person that we talked through the whole movie and chatted until 3 AM. In typical lesbian fashion, we have been attached at the hip ever since that first date.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory is when we went camping in Santa Fe, New Mexico. We went to the Georgia O’Keefe museum, visited Meow Wolf, had a lovely dinner in downtown, then came back to our campsite. Before we went to bed in our tent, we hugged under the stars and stargazed for hours! It was the most beautiful, clear sky we’d ever seen.
What would you do with $20,000?We would use the $20,000 towards our new townhome that we bought last summer. We’re getting married in August, so we’d also put part of it towards our honeymoon fund.
