How did your love story begin?

Our story began in 2015 in Colorado State University's Toxicology graduate program. What started as conversations about cowboy boots, Zack's pickup truck, horses, and our shared love of science quickly turned into something more. We officially started dating in March 2016, and from our very first adventures together, we knew we'd found not only the love of our lives, but also our very best friend.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

One of our favorite memories is spending summer days boating on Horsetooth Reservoir. From soaking up the Colorado sunshine to laughing with friends and family, those days became some of our happiest moments together. It made Zack's proposal at the very same lake even more meaningful—a perfect full-circle moment where one of our favorite memories became the start of our next chapter.

What would you do with $20,000?

If we had $20,000, we'd put it toward a dream that's bigger than a honeymoon or a house, your typical answers. We'd start building our own wedding venue. We envision a place with mountain views, great beer, and a relaxed outdoor atmosphere where couples can celebrate their love surrounded by the people they care about most. Our hope is to create a venue that makes wedding planning a little easier and every couple's day unforgettable, just like we hope ours will be.
