We met online when I was quitting a dating app & she was just starting. I thought one of us was out of the other's league, so I passed on even saying hi. She said hi anyway—and changed everything. Three weeks earlier, I’d accepted I might stay single forever. Then we connected online, bonded over some used cake, met in person, and sparks flew—though I tried to play it cool and shrugged off the connection. Couldn't really believe she would want me anyway. No givsies backsies babe. :)

It was one of our first roadtrips as a couple. We had just gotten on the freeway and suddenly there was a loud belch. I slowly turned my wife's direction in silent disbelief. Then, at that exact moment, I spotted a billboard and said, "Hey look, it's me!" It was a billboard of Kermit the Frog that said "eat flies, dates a pig...." Yes it was a gamble but she laughed hard! We laughed a lot that day and we've been finding ways to laugh daily together ever since. (Yes she helped write this).

We would certainly donate a decent amount of it to our choice of charity. But we would also create memories with that money. Memories that include just us and memories that also include our 7 kids. Perhaps a cruise, or a trip to Europe or maybe even Disneyland. We are still having fun exploring those options.
