We met as teenagers before we knew who we’d become. 9 yrs later we’re still each other’s favorite person building the future we dreamed of.

We met in high school marching band when we were teenagers and have been together ever since. Over the last 9 years, we’ve grown up side by side through college, first jobs, long-distance stretches, moving in together, adopting our two cats, and now planning our wedding. We’ve shared almost every major milestone together.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Getting engaged at the Biltmore Estate is definitely our favorite memory. Afterward, we rushed through the house tour because all we wanted to do was talk about what had just happened. We went to Posana for dinner and spent the whole meal sharing our favorite moments from the day and all the details we hadn’t known beforehand. The only hiccup was realizing Alex had left his keys at the proposal spot and having to get them from the lost and found later.
What would you do with $20,000?We would use the money to help build the future we’re working toward together: getting married, buying a home, and starting a family. It would give us a huge head start and ease some of the financial stress that comes with those exciting next steps. Family means a lot to both of us, and we’d love to create a home where future memories can be made with the people we love most.
