Cynthia and I met during one of the hardest seasons of my life. After separating from my daughter’s mother, I moved into a room-for-rent home where Cynthia also lived. I kept to myself, so she called me “the ninja.” One morning, the smell of espresso from my room started our first real conversation. Coffee led to trust, healing, dinner, and eventually love. By November, we were exclusive, and we’ve been together ever since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our fondest memory is the peace we’ve built together at home. We love spending quality time cooking, laughing, and enjoying simple moments. Cynthia was surprised to learn I love to cook too, so I proudly became her sous chef—prepping, cleaning, and taking charge of steaks, grilling, and seafood. For us, the best memories are not always big events, but the quiet joy of being together.
What would you do with $20,000?Oh that is easy. We will start a dry cleaning and laundry business and use the money as a down payment for a business loan. Cynthia has 20 years in the industry and really needs to own and operate her own business.
