Connect How did your love story begin?

We both went early decision to our University, and met in the group chat with 100 other students who did the same. Joe DM'd me, asking how to set up his new email address, and from there we started talking, bonded over shared interests, and became fast friends. When we finally met in person on the first day of orientation, we clicked immediately. We were friends for a year and a half, until it finally dawned on us both, why aren't we more than friends?

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Last summer during our trip to Nice, France, we took a day trip up to Eze village. In the botanical gardens at the very top, Joe proposed to me overlooking the French coastline and it was absolutely magical. But one of our favorite memories following our engagement was going to this super small, family owned restaurant in Nice called La Cucina, and meeting 2 other couples waiting for tables too. We ended up eating dinner and then going out for drinks with them after, and it was a blast.

What would you do with $20,000?

$20,000 would be huge for us! A portion of that money would help us save towards our future (home, kids, etc.), but most of it would go towards our upcoming honeymoon! We're planning a trip to Japan in 2027 and being able to use that money on delicious food, various couples experiences, keepsakes for our home, and traveling around the region would be incredibly memorable for us.
