We met during the peak of COVID. We had an overlap of only three weeks, working together, but in that time we started hanging out daily. We were both very guarded, because we had been burnt before, so we weren’t in a rush to be at risk again. After a couple of months, we parted ways. I never stopped thinking about him. Six months later, he came back to work at that same fast food restaurant, this time for only a week. We quickly became inseparable, and after three months we started dating.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?One night in July of 2021, before we were dating, I dropped Kolin off at his house after we spent most of the day together. We were immediately on the phone with one another. He told me he had forgotten his AirPods in my car, so I turned around. As I get back to his house, he’s telling me how bright my head lights are, so I turn on my brights and roll down my window, and as I’m explaining the difference, he grabs my face and kisses me. Our first kiss. He got scared because of how red I got.
What would you do with $20,000?We are currently planning our wedding, so $20,000 would help in that department, for sure! With that being said, we are trying to have a frugal wedding, so what we don’t utilize for the wedding, would go to a down payment on a home.
