We met on a dating app called Hinge. We know what you’re probably thinking—“A dating app? Really?” Yes, really! Ervin was immediately drawn to how Alexis presented herself on her profile. Hinge gives users one free rose each week to send to someone they’re especially interested in, and Ervin decided to use his on Alexis. Along with the rose, he sent a message that said, “Hope you liked my rose. You definitely deserved it. I’d like to get to know you.” Alexis responded, Thank you, I appreciate it

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory that we have together is too many to count. But taking a trip to Chicago, was our number one trip we were able to do so many different activities, going to museums , having brunch on the water and even taking a trip to Chinatown. Seeing all the history in Chicago together and exploring new things like taking the subway was exciting. Exploring a new city alone and together sparked a new experience.

What would you do with $20,000?

If we were fortunate enough to receive the $20,000, it would help us begin this exciting new chapter of our lives together. We would use it toward building our future, including saving for our first home and creating a strong financial foundation as newlyweds. It would also help us enjoy our honeymoon, allowing us to make lasting memories as we celebrate the start of our marriage. This gift would not only support our immediate goals but also help us invest in the future we are working hard for.
