How did your love story begin?

In 2014 me and him were freshman in college at the same university. We were neighbors in a co-ed dorm. We met when me and several other girls were standing by the elevator discussing where a terrible smell was coming from on our floor. He walked around the corner and one of the girls suggested it was him that smelled bad. I said it was crazy and walked right over to sniff him. He remembers it differently than I do, for obvious reasons and we became friends anyway.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

My favorite memory of us is while we were separated for work. We promised to stay friends and still visited each other regularly, but with a 10 hour difference between us, a real relationship seemed impossible. He decided to come visit me right as covid was starting since he had lost his job to the pandemic. He asked me up front, what are we doing? I didnt have an answer at the time but I knew I had plans to return home, so my response was, I plan to marry you.

What would you do with $20,000?

Pay off my student loans and finally afford to pursue a career in writing. My husband has been my biggest supporter and I'm grateful for him every day. By paying off my student debt we will finally be able to relax and focus on what makes us happy together.
